Ha.
I don't want to brag or make anyone jealous or anything, but I can still fit into the earrings I wore in high school. I'm just sayin.

New Verizon LG VL600's - Compatible with Windows 7... Really?
So we have a new test batch of Verizon LG VL600 USB 4G modems to test... IF they will work on our new Windows 7 boxes. The installation goes smoothly - no errors or red flags, the device drivers load, and the VZ Access Manager even states that you gain connection - but you actually don't ever gain an IP address. At first Verizon suggested it was Trend Micro, so it's been tested as being disabled and then again with Trend removed from the box - same result; no connection. Then they suspected it was another process enabled at startup, so I've disabled all unnecessary apps via MSCONFIG, but still again - no change. I removed and re-added the device drivers, the application itself, our VPN software - rebooting and testing at each change... And nothing - Nothing seems to affect this. Any suggestions?
-Additional Notes: This was tested on the following (all running Windows 7)
Dell Latitude E6410 ATG
Dell Latitude E6510
Dell Latitude E5510
These units do not have an image installed.
These units are affected by a GPO, but so are others that have different models of Verizon cards and they are functioning properly.
